Mareeba Seed Savers and Gardening Group

Our meetings are friendly and informal and a time where we meet to share / exchange seeds and plant materials, to swap ideas with and gather knowledge from other gardeners. We welcome you to our events which are held on the SECOND Sunday of January, March, May, July, September and November each year at different private properties hosting the event.

Come anytime between 10am and 3pm; We will pack and register seeds into our seed bank until midday, then we'll share lunch. At 1:00pm we will listen to our guest speaker and afterward, wander through the garden and learn from our hosts.

We have a give-away table which is always full of so many things ranging from seedlings, plant cuttings, excess produce, gardening books; basically anything relating to gardening that a person wishes to give-away.

Members have FREE access to our seed bank; non-members can still access the seed bank and are simply asked to give a gold coin donation.
