Seed Savers National Zoom - Sunday 5th November at 5pm AEDT.

It is time to register for our next quarterly Zoom meetup of seed savers around Australia. Come along and join in. It’s an opportunity to ask questions, share experiences, gather new ideas, learn something and connect with other seed savers.

Register in advance for this meeting: https://us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZMtc-ygpjIvHtZhaPiGcb5oGSeHjnQYbDQd

We have another three interesting talks from different seed saving perspectives. And another open discussion we can all participate in and share our approaches. Bring your questions and contribute to our shared knowledge if you can.

Eliza-Jane Gilchrist – Vic – Castlemaine Seed Library : A Seed Library in a Book Library – How their seed library started and operates within the local public library.

Tonielle Christensen – QLD – Earth Mumma Permaculture : Propagating and Sharing Tropical Perennials – Perennial greens, medicinal herbs and tropical fruit trees.

Julie Davies and friends – NSW – Bega Valley Seed Savers : Springvale Group Seed Garden – What is it? How does it operate? A video tour and Q&A for a community seed production garden.

Show and Tell Time – Storage and Labelling. How are you storing your seeds? What sorting system do you use to keep track of what you have? We’re interested in approaches for both small and large collections.

If possible, please send photos of your storage systems to CanberraSeedSavers@gmail.com by Friday 3rd November so we can make it easy to share the pictures during the discussion. If you can hold the items in front of your camera on the night you are also welcome to show them that way.
