Pumpkin ‘Pawpaw’

Cucurbita moschata ‘Pawpaw’ is an ancient pumpkin believed to have originated in central America. It has sweet, nutty orange flesh and ripens with a green and orange streaked skin. The pumpkins are cylinder shaped and weigh between 1.5 to 4kg. Days to harvest are 90 to 100. It tolerates hot humid weather and has a high tolerance to mildew and pests but dislikes hot, dry weather.
