Recording of National Zoom – 1 November

Here is the recording of the National Seed Savers Zoom held on Sunday 1st November,

Attendees shared their seed stories and heard about the provenance and history behind other varieties being stewarded in our network.

Seeds embody more than their genetics. They also carry cultural and historical knowledge from past generations. Seeds can be part of a family’s history or our communities’ traditions.

How can we make sure these stories are carried along with the seeds and not lost? Why is it important to carry these stories forward as we help to preserve these varieties in our gardens? We tried to tackle some of these questions.

Quite a few resources were also shared during the event. Here is a list from the text chat.
