Our next national zoom catchup is coming up on Sunday 3rd August at 5pm.
We’ll be catching up with two community engagement programs that the Bega Valley Seed Savers have been running:
- One Seed, One Community – A program run with the Bega Valley Shire Library inviting everyone in the community to grow and save seed of exactly the same variety. This project was about building community connections as well as introducing new people to seed saving.
- From Seed to a Feed – This project aimed to encourage people to grow through to seed by connecting the seed to eating! Tortillas and miso were the outcomes.
Seed Saving Resources – The second part of our session will be a discussion about seed saving resources and educational materials and sharing experiences and insights from using and creating different sources. Whether it’s a website, a book, a podcast, a workshop or a guide, or anything else, please share what you have found useful. You can send us a message before the zoom with your recommended resource list, or you can share in the chat during the zoom.
We’re interested in how you get answers to questions? How you explain what seed saving is about to people? How you teach seed saving skills? Have you created presentation materials that you can share?
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
Please contact us at hello@seedsavers.org.au if you have questions or need help registering.
