Curcurbita moschata ‘Musquee de Provence’ is a very large French heirloom variety described often as looking like a large wheel of cheese. It flattened in shape and deeply lobed and ribbed. The skin is a beautiful russet brown when ripe; the flesh is a vibrant deep orange with a sweet flavour and fine texture. It can grow between 6 and 20kg and stores for as long as 9 months.
